Located in the hamlet of Alton, in the Town of Sodus, New York. Shaker farmstead from 1826 to 1838. Fourierist community from 1843 to 1846. Members advocated for women’s rights and abolitionism. Signer Catharine Fish Stebbins lived there with her family.
